At BSA, our commitment to safety is a key part of our business. We have developed a comprehensive safety program and we work diligently to ensure that our jobsites are safe working environments. Each new employee meets with our safety & health engineering to learn our safety policies before reporting to his/her first job site. Weekly "Tool Box Talks" and quarterly company wide safety meetings keep all of BSA employees well informed on the latest safety systems and techniques.

Our safety & health engineer, certified as a "trainer of trainers", also presents in-house seminars for our supervisors. A few selected topics include, fire protection, scaffolding safety, fall protection and working in confined spaces. All of our project engineers receive the 40 hours OSHA construction safety course and are certified by OSHA.

We understand that our clients are concerned about safety, and we go to great lengths to ensure that their jobsites are safe. That's why we have developed a comprehensive "Safety Watcher Program."

A safety "watcher" is that person at a jobsite that using its training, experience and awareness, detects and prevents possible job related hazards. Although this may seem as an easy task, the safety watcher's work is one of the frat responsibility and importance to a job site. To serve this end, BSA's safety & health division has developed a highly trained team of these individuals, specialized in these and other areas: personal protection equipment, fire prevention, ladders, chemical hazard awareness, crane safety, hot works, scaffolds, excavations, confined spaces, line disassembly, lock out/tag out, respiratory protection, fall protection, electrical hazards, steel erection, motor vehicles in jobsites, materials handing & storage, general safety & health provisions and sexual harassment policies.
